What kind of game is Petit Planet, and what can I do in it?
A cozy life simulation game from HoYoverse. You build your own planet, farm, fish, catch bugs, beachcomb, cook, decorate, befriend Neighbors, explore the Starsea, and socialize at the Galactic Bazaar.
Is Petit Planet friendly to free-to-play players?
Not confirmed. It is free to download with in-app purchases, but their effect on free-to-play progression is not yet verified. The Final Beta does not allow real-money purchases, so it cannot establish how fair the launch version will be.
Which parts of the game require payment?
Specific paid items and prices are not confirmed. Google Play lists in-app purchases, including random items, without identifying the products or their costs.
When does Petit Planet launch?
Winter 2026. The official announcement has not given an exact day.
Can I still apply for the final beta?
No. Applications closed on September 14, 2026 at 00:00 (UTC+8). Launch pre-registration is separate.
Which devices does the final beta support?
Windows PC, iOS, and Android.
Does final-beta progress carry over to launch?
No. The final beta is a data-wipe test; progress will not carry over to launch.

What should I sell to earn Dough early on?
Sell spare fish and bugs. For other income, compare crop prices and check available StarDash delivery rewards.
Are crops worth more on another planet?
Not always. Compare the Greenmarket listing with your own price before traveling to sell.
Does cooking always increase the sale value?
No. Compare the dish price with the total value of its ingredients before cooking a batch.
Does a failed recipe attempt use ingredients?
Not always. Rejected combinations in selected-recipe discovery reportedly return ingredients; Freestyle and ordinary cooking can consume them.
Why is the right ingredient rejected?
Check the quality hint as well as the ingredient type. The recipe may need a different quality of the same ingredient.
Can bulk cooking fail?
Yes. Beta players report failed dishes consuming ingredients during bulk cooking. Try a small batch before using rare supplies.
How do I see which plots a scarecrow manages?
Select the scarecrow and choose View field. Check the displayed boundary again after changing your farm layout.
Does Planet Maker unlock terrain editing too?
No. Object layout and terrain editing unlock separately in the beta.
Which day does terraforming unlock?
There is no verified fixed day. Continue the main progression and Luca Arbor upgrades, and check the feature-unlock prompts.
Where can I find furniture missing from my shop?
Try Glenn’s shop on other players’ planets. Stock can differ, but finding a specific piece is not guaranteed.
Can I put a second cooking station outdoors?
Yes. Craft another cooking station and place it outdoors; the beta also allows extra DIY benches.
Where do I meet seasonal Neighbors?
Explore the corresponding seasonal Starsea while that area is available. An encounter is not guaranteed on each trip.
Do I need to pull a banner to meet Neighbors?
No, according to the beta reports checked. Regular and seasonal Neighbors are met through exploration; the reported banners are for clothing and furniture.
How do I start Friend Follow Mode?
Add each other as friends, approach your friend, open their profile and send a follow invitation. The leader needs the required gathering access on that planet.
Do followers get copies of the leader’s catches?
No. Beta reports say the leader keeps the catches, while the follower gains progress toward daily activities. Take turns leading if both players want materials.
How do I store outdoor furniture on PC?
Approach it empty-handed and hold F on the default PC bindings. If you remapped controls, use the on-screen storage prompt.
Does getting furniture automatically unlock its recipe?
No. Some furniture obtained from beta banners comes as a finished item without its Inspo Card. Check your crafting cards before planning extra copies.
How do I breed new flower colors?
Place different colors of the same flower species near one another, water daily, and leave nearby spaces empty.
Can transplanted flowers produce hybrids?
Yes. Beta reports describe both seed-grown and transplanted flowers being used for breeding.
Will watering flowers guarantee a new color tomorrow?
No. New colors are chance-based; watering and free space do not guarantee a result the next day.
How do I grow oversized crops?
Plant matching crop types beside one another and water daily. An oversized harvest is not guaranteed.
How do I get crops with unusual colors or shapes?
Try planting different crop types beside one another and water daily. The special result is chance-based.
Does a 3×3 crop patch guarantee a special harvest?
No. It is a convenient layout for matching crops, not a guaranteed mutation formula.
Does a sea fish count as seafood in recipes?
No. For a seafood requirement, use creatures collected along the shore rather than saltwater fish.
How do I check a neighbor's gift preferences?
Open the gift screen and check the preferences in the upper-left corner before choosing an item.
What can I give Yunguo?
Apple or Bamboo Log are useful starting choices. Avoid black or plastic items.
Do plants use building capacity?
Yes. Crops and trees also contribute to regional building capacity. Spread dense planting across regions if an area is full.
How do I get more Neighbor slots?
In the Final Beta, Luca Arbor levels 17, 24 and 28 each add one Neighbor slot.
What can I cook with two fruits?
Aromatic Fruit Tea in the Cooking Pot, or Dazzling Juice in the Blender.
