Check all of a creature’s appearance conditions before spending a trip searching for it. Being on the right planet is not enough if the habitat, season, time or weather is wrong.
Build a short target list
For each missing creature, note its region or islet, exact habitat, active season, day or night requirement, and weather. Prioritize targets whose conditions are available now; leave year-round, all-day targets for gaps between limited opportunities.
Search the right part of the map
| Target | Places to distinguish |
|---|---|
| Fish | River, plains lake, mountain lake, waterfall pool or coastal water |
| Insects | Grass, crops, flowers, tree trunks, rocks or open air |
| Shore-dwellers | The shoreline and intertidal area, rather than a fishing spot |
An islet specialty also needs the matching islet. A different island in the same broad region may not have it.
Nothing appearing?
- Recheck the habitat and day/night condition.
- Check the active season and whether rain or snow is required.
- If the conditions do not match, switch to another target or return during the right window.
Matching the conditions gives you a chance to encounter the creature; it does not guarantee an immediate spawn. The appearance window is an in-game condition, not a verified fixed real-world clock schedule.
