Friend Follow Mode lets friends share progress toward daily activities. It does not give both players copies of the leader’s catches.
Start a follow session
- Add each other as friends. Make sure the player who will lead has the required access to gather on the planet you are visiting.
- Approach your friend, open their profile, and choose the follow invitation option. The inviting player becomes the leader; they do not have to own the planet.
- After the invitation is accepted, perform activities that contribute to daily progress. Check the progress shown for your role.
Who gets the items?
Beta reports describe the leader collecting the actual fish, bugs and beachcombing items. The follower moves with the leader and gains progress toward daily activities rather than duplicate catches. Take turns leading if both players want to collect materials.
Progress is not an instant currency payout
The mode advances daily activities; their reward system grants Footprints. Progress does not award Footprints immediately or duplicate the leader’s items.
