Planet Maker and terrain editing are different unlocks. Having the layout editor does not mean you can reshape land or water yet.
If a building tool is missing
- Continue the main progression and Luca Arbor upgrades; check each new feature prompt.
- Once Planet Maker is available, check which object-placement tools it currently offers.
- If land or water tools are still absent, continue progression rather than looking for a hidden toggle in the placement menu.
Why an old tutorial may not match
Players sometimes call both systems “terraforming.” In the beta discussion, the question about an early terraforming unlock was corrected to mean Planet Maker.
Avoid planning around a fixed “day four” unlock: players reach progression milestones at different times. Check the feature you need, not just the name used in a guide.
Store outdoor furniture on PC
Approach the furniture with empty hands and hold F on the default PC bindings to store it. A short interaction can pick it up for moving instead. If you changed your controls, follow the on-screen binding; this PC key does not describe the mobile controls.
Luca Arbor milestones
These growth rewards apply to the Final Beta. Check the tree’s reward preview alongside your quest prompts.
